Keeping Paris Clean digital photograph by Ted Szukalski

If you are a tourist and like sleeping in you may never see the army of green clad people who descend on Paris every morning to keep the city clean. I was quite amazed how many workers the city of Paris actually employees for that purpose. They have a lot of specialised utility vehicles which help them with this massive task but as you can see the old fashioned broom works as well. This man is cleaning Rue du Cloître Notre-Dame, which runs along the Notre-Dame cathedral.
