If we could walk on water MG_4945 digital photograph by Ted Szukalski

When I photographed these two pairs looking afar at the bulk carriers anchored in the distance I have noticed how similar the texture of the ground was to the waves below. When I was converting this to black and white I made an effort to match the tonality of water and the sandstone to match to create an illusion of smooth transition and thus “enable” the people in the photograph to walk on water.
