Anyone who knows few of my photographs will know I often photograph homeless people. However, I have never seen the homeless so self degraded as in Prague. I have titled this photograph “Human Degradation - Beggar in Prague” as it really bothered me the way these people beg there. I don’t think it was necessary for them to prostrate themselves like that to get few coins for food.

Great stuff. I think most of us, myself included, degrade ourselves regularly in many different ways. Whether its backstabbing someone to feel part of a group, letting your boss walk all over you, sleeping/marrying someone for alterer motives, using drugs of any kind to take a perceived easier path through life. I do allot of social work, and many homeless people I talk to find this type of behavior less degrading than taking it from the man 5 days a week. Begging becomes second nature very quickly, which presents a whole different set of problems!
Interesting eh!
