Bush Turkey - Alectura lathami
Bush turkey is common on the eastern coast of Australia. It inhabits rainforest, including dry scrubs, from Cape York Peninsula south along the coast to about the Hawkesbury River (Central Coast) in NSW. It is a large bird, reaching 60–75cm in length and has a wingspan of 85cm. Males and females are of similar size.
