What better way to start summer than with a spectacular, red sunrise.
The sunrise today was very strange. From dark yellow throughout the sky initially to these very colourful red and purple tones within a minute or two. And it was all gone few minutes later.
I have passed this set of bus stops countless number of times but it took the gloomy, gray day like today for me to notice the yellow, alphabetical signs for each of them. I guess my mind is usually focused on finding interesting people situations but it is good sometimes to refocus and place these people in the urban environment.
The old woman with her bright, yellow umbrella looked like some surreal apparition from another time in the middle of busy Sydney mall. She wore a knitted flowery hat and a strange looking coat. Her modern, plastic footwear was at total odds with the rest of the outfit. I have this distinct impression I have photographed her before but I cannot recall the circumstances.
