This is one of these unusual moments I managed to capture on the camera. A woman was laying flat on her back in front of the announcement board of the st. Andrew’s cathedral in Sydney. This is hardly a leisure spot or a location to have a lunchtime lay-down. What may not be visible on the photograph is the fact that she also had her naked and rather substantial belly totally exposed. Than I looked closer at the board and the listing of 5:30PM Fix Church somehow started to fit this bizarre scene.

I write a lot of letters. Having friends all over the world means e-mail is an easy way for us to communicate. I guess most people have almost forgotten what it is like to use old fashioned postal letters. You know the one hand written on white paper, in nice envelope and a colourful stamp. The one the other person will wait for a week or two to receive if they live somewhere in Europe or USA. And yet some people still do write letter like that. This older lady is one of them. She was sitting on a bench in Sydney’s Martin place and was writing a letter.
When was the last time you wrote a letter with a pen?

On the surface this photograph of a man is giving directions to a girl at the entry to Town Hall station may indicate a helpful young man helping a girl getting around Sydney. However this is not the case. This man is part of a promotion group for a hairdressing business. They are very active promoting their services almost in any public space in CBD.

This photograph of a woman trying a new pair of shoes is probably as stereotyped as a “behaviour” can go. After all, who doesn’t know how much women like to buy shoes. I photographed this smartly dressed woman at a well known Pitt Street Mall shoe shop.
