Dressed like a character from a classic Humphrey Bogart movie, sporting a checkered hat, tie and suspenders and smoking rather large cigar this man was telling some story to his charming companion. The story seemed very interesting as you can see from the attention he was receiving from her.
Ultimate technique for a street photographer is to be so inconspicuous and so obvious that no one pays you any attention as if you were invisible. Well as you can tell form this image I have failed on this occasion 100%. The girl with the cigarette was obviously uncertain of what I was doing and why. However her scrutiny did not go as far as to question me, which happens from time to time.
I hope one of the visitors here can shed some light on this: why can Muslims smoke and yet they cannot drink because alcohol harms you.
