This photograph of a young woman and a young man talking on their mobile phones and smoking a cigarette is all about symmetry. Not a mirror like symmetry but behavioural one. They both sit on a monorail pylon and I doubt they are aware of each others existence, and yet they are both doing the same thing. Having a break from work, catching up with friends and sadly smoking.

Story teller
by Ted Szukalski |Dressed like a character from a classic Humphrey Bogart movie, sporting a checkered hat, tie and suspenders and smoking rather large cigar this man was telling some story to his charming companion. The story seemed very interesting as you can see from the attention he was receiving from her.
Fire Safety Door
by Ted Szukalski |Ultimate technique for a street photographer is to be so inconspicuous and so obvious that no one pays you any attention as if you were invisible. Well as you can tell form this image I have failed on this occasion 100%. The girl with the cigarette was obviously uncertain of what I was doing and why. However her scrutiny did not go as far as to question me, which happens from time to time.
Islam and smoking

My pet hate – smoke
