Don’t hurt my shadow
I was passing this man during my daily walk. He walked very slowly putting his feet on the ground as gently as it was possible. He kept talking to him self.
I must say it was one of the hardest photos I have done in a long time. I was rather concerned how he may react. It is one thing to be homeless but totally a different issue when you are so lost.

Men and street lights - silhouettes
Another photograph I took early this morning while in Terrigal. This photograph was taken against very bright and hazy sky thus creating almost pure black silhouettes of the men walking under street lights.

Young Skater MG_2260
Evening training session on ice. The kids are preparing a Christmas show. The sun is getting low and is entering through the corner window reflecting of ice with a blinding beam. I’m watching the kids with moderate interest as the session drags quite slowly and it seems to lack cohesion from the trainers and participants.
One of the skaters crosses the beam of light, then another. Now they have my interest. I get the camera, expose for the brightest spot and wait… and wait. Finally one of the girls breaks rank and crosses the light again. Snap. Thank you.
Ideally I’d like them to skate closer to me so the silhouette effect is stronger. Never the less I’m happy with this photograph. It captures the blinding light and the skater.
