It has been a while since I have posted last abstract photograph. Although people are by far my most fascinating subjects I do photograph other things, even if I post them here rarely.
This is one of my favourite photographs. I have taken in during a visit to Czech Republic, Prague. It was taken from St. Nicolas cathedral and captures neighbouring roofs. The reach, earthy tones of the clay roof tiles give it a unique character. The angular view adds to the depth and slopes of the roof lines.
Part of the art of street photography is ability to notice interesting people and events around you. There are some places where I know there are many people with character or are very popular destinations for either tourists or alternative culture youth. However, I did not expect to see people having conversation on the roof of one of small shops in the city center. They may have been workers fixing the roof but at this moment they simply had a engaging talk.
