A simple mirror image photograph of a girl standing right next to a shop window. Sharp angle of view and the fact the girl was right on the edge of the window provided for a very clear reflection.

Have you ever wondered why Australia is referred to as the land Down Under. Wonder no more as this photograph clearly revels the reason: we have everything upside down.
Another interesting find for today was this highly reflective building facade. The panels and windows were set at an angle and thus reflected both the people below and the buildings above. Quite a surreal arrangement.
This photograph was taken in front of Queen Victoria building, Sydney. I must admit I am not sure this is a trombone as it looks too elaborate for one. I did not even pay much attention to the music this guy was playing. I was trying to get the reflection on the trombone captured as he raised it from time to time.
Very calm water in the shallows and fantastic, evening light allowed for an excellent detail in the reflection of this white goose. The goose was very placid and allowed me to come quite close for this photograph. However, no matter what it would not turn around.
I usually spot a lot of photo opportunities around me but this old boat was spotted by my son, who found the volume of barnacles on the boat’s hull quite fascinating. I just thought it made a fantastic find especially with the very clear reflection of it.
Evening training session on ice. The kids are preparing a Christmas show. The sun is getting low and is entering through the corner window reflecting of ice with a blinding beam. I’m watching the kids with moderate interest as the session drags quite slowly and it seems to lack cohesion from the trainers and participants.
One of the skaters crosses the beam of light, then another. Now they have my interest. I get the camera, expose for the brightest spot and wait… and wait. Finally one of the girls breaks rank and crosses the light again. Snap. Thank you.
Ideally I’d like them to skate closer to me so the silhouette effect is stronger. Never the less I’m happy with this photograph. It captures the blinding light and the skater.
