This was an interesting situation. I have spotted this couple having a conversation in Pitt Street Mall and I thought they looked interesting. The moment I put my camera to my eyes the man became immediately aware I am going to photograph them. Usually this spoils the shot but to my surprise he did not turn away or question my action, instead he posed with a nice smile.
Rain is usually associated with gloomy moods but that obviously did not apply to this group of people who had a good laugh in the middle of the Pitt Street Mall.
I have added a new gallery to the site: Pitt Stop fashion show. The gallery shows off models and garments presented last night in Pitt Street Mall fashion parade. The show was a big success with the spectators featuring attractive garments, models and music.
Sometimes I publish photographs because someone or something has drawn my attention. This time however the subject of the photographs is not so much the attractive girl powdering her nose in the busy Pitt Street Mall but the play of light created by strong mid-day sun and the shadows of the leaves.
Pittstop is a familiar sign to any visitor to Pitt Street Mall in Sydney. Pittstop is effectively a promotional company advancing interests of Westfield group. Usually you would see attractive young woman giving out brochures about various shops and services withing the shopping center. Today however they have hired highly entertaining jugglers who dressed in French Chef outfits drew considerable attention.
Juan Mann of Free Hugs fame was back at the Pitt Street Mall today with a lot more willing huggers than I have seen for a while. Here Juan is hugging the Retro Hotel Crew.
Looks like fun times at the Retro Hotel. Their promotional crew with huge hair sure brought a lot of attention to itself in the Sydney’s Pitt Street Mall.
