Today City of Sydney has organised a Bike EXPO at Martin Place. There was information about bicycles and advice on the best routes to cycle around the city or to work. On show were also plans the City of Sydney has for the city to make it really bike-friendly city through its ten year Cycle Strategy. These plans aim to build a cycle network throughout the city and increase cycling by 500 per cent. Underlying reasons for the expo were promotion of environment protection, energy preservation, health and traffic congestion.
There was also show performed by top BMX riders Simon O’Brien and Vincent Pugh (pictured above). Visit our bike expo photographic gallery to see more images of this amazing show.
I have created a new photographic gallery called models . Most of the photographs in this gallery were taken during recent Erina Fair Wedding Wonderland show. I have to admit the conditions were not photographer friendly with dim light and difficult access.
I have attempted to create a variety of effects in post processing. The photos were converted from raw using Bibble Pro and touched up with Photoshop CS. I have used 2 of my favourite plug-ins: PowerRetouche and Nik Color Fx. The girls are glamorous and I hope you’ll enjoy this new fashion gallery .
Somersby Falls is the latest addition to our photographic gallery.
Somersby Falls are located in the Brisbane Water National Park on the picturesque Central Coast, NSW, Australia.
This is a very beautiful park. You need medium level fitness to access lower parts of the walk, but if the elder Fern Society people, who I met there, can do it so can you.
Be prepared to carry a tripod - the light is sparse and if you want to shoot low ISO landscapes expect times up to 5 seconds at f8. You will be rewarded with rich, lush greens of the bush and ever present moss. If you are into waterfall photography a low to medium grade neutral density filter may be of benefit.
