Actress Jackie
Four Asian girls have created a lot attention as they tried to make a movie near Sydney Town Hall. Their board read “Actress Jackie, scene 1″. They took a number of takes on the same theme, where the “Actress Jackie” would walk forward a few steps, she would stop all of the sudden, turn around and take a photograph. I wish them all the best but at the tempo they were making that movie it will take a long time to reach its completion.

Tables and Chairs
Did you recognise the items in this photograph immediately or did these simple stacked chairs and folded outdoor cafe tables reminded you of some industrial installations? It is interesting how common subjects can be sometimes arranged in a way where they become “hidden”.

The Skillion
I seldom photograph landscapes with showing them in black and white. Today however I tried exactly that. So, here is the photograph of the Skillion at Terrigal photographed in HDR (three blended exposures) and converted to black and white.

Chris
In a start departure from my usual preference for unposed photographs I have asked this young men if I could photograph him. His name is Chris. There was no easy way of capturing his portrait without him knowing it. Luckily Chris was very quick and when I asked him to continue looking where he was without looking into camera he obliged. I think the resulting photograph has a strong, unique 3d effect.

Chris and Tracey MG_1212
While I was listening to the classical guitar player I have noticed a colourful and intriguing pair of young people. They both had coloured hair and seemed interested in the music of the busker too. I have approached them and asked if I could take their photograph. They introduced themselves as Chris and Tracey and actually really liked the idea. Thanks guys - you were fantastic.

Confidence MG_1232
Usually when people realise I try to photograph them they turn away but not this pretty brunette who looked me straight into the lens and held the look. This girl was not only gorgeous but also very confident.

Sunday sunrise
Here is another Sunday sunrise from Terrigal. This photograph is a blend of three exposures - so called HDR (High Dynamic Range) technique.
