I must admit, recently, I have been struggling to keep the blog regularly updated. Being preoccupied with a important project at work I have put photography on a second plane but today the weather was very nice and good walk was long overdue. It felt like summer and lots of people took advantage of the nice conditions. This photograph shows a busy crossing of George and Park Streets near Sydney Town Hall.
Nap in a park
by Ted Szukalski |I photographed this young couple napping in Hyde Park. Surrounded by fallen, dry leaves they looked so peaceful. Embraced closely with entangled legs they seemed worlds apart from the people crossing the park on their way from work.
Sunny park
by Ted Szukalski |Last few days we had a very hot weather. Here is a photograph of a park I passed on my way to the Central station. The hot sun rays intermixed with deep shadows. That is usually not a good combination for photography but somehow this scene worked for me. I am certain most of the people on the park benches appreciated a bit of shade.
Woman runner
by Ted Szukalski |Many people in Sydney take advantage of the nice weather during lunchtime and go for a run. I have photographed this athletic woman running near a park. I was lucky to photograph her totally airborne.
Just the two of us
by Ted Szukalski |Here is a small scene from a park: a men and his dog – beautifully groomed golden retriever.
We have two golden retrievers but they are quite different in nature to the one in
photograph. Younger one is a girl of 10 months and she is so mischievous we repeat her
name so often that our parrot has learnt to call her too.
