Three Lane Traffic Parisian Style
There is one black line and another and … oh yes the white one in between.
Paris is one of the busies cities traffic wise I’ve ever seen. The drivers are very decisive, quick and unforgiving. It mad peek hours Parisians can be very inventive when it comes to solving the traffic congestion as shown here, where a long line of scooters has its own lane - it just happens to be the white dividing line.

Keeping Paris Clean
If you are a tourist and like sleeping in you may never see the army of green clad people who descend on Paris every morning to keep the city clean. I was quite amazed how many workers the city of Paris actually employees for that purpose. They have a lot of specialised utility vehicles which help them with this massive task but as you can see the old fashioned broom works as well. This man is cleaning Rue du Cloître Notre-Dame, which runs along the Notre-Dame cathedral.

Parisian Cool - Woman on a bicycle 101_7757
To a European there is probably nothing special in this capture of a woman riding her bicycle through streets of Paris. However, here in Australia unless it is a mountain or race bike you never see the “normal” old fashioned bicycle used as every day transport.
