Guitarist Tom Ward
Tom Ward is one of the most talented buskers you can come across in Sydney. He often performs his dynamic and full of energy music at Pitt Street Mall.
As you can see form this picture Tom clearly loves his music and I for one enjoy his talent and virtuosity.

Pussycat Dolls MG_5215
Today, Pussycat Dolls had a mini concert at Sydney’s Martin Place. They filled in the place with their lively rhythmic pop music and a very sexy dance routine. It is not coincidental their act is often described as burlesque. The girls certainly know how to use the sexy image to spice up their show.
I have taken quite a lot of photographs and you are welcome to explore my Pussycat Dolls gallery
Pussycat Dolls are Ashley Roberts, Carmit Bachar, Jessica Sutta, Kimberly Wyatt, Melody Thornton and Nicole Scherzinger

Asian musician
This Asian musician has made Martin Place his concert hall now for a number of months. However, I have yet to see anyone at all listening to his music. The instrument he is using produces rather high pitch tones, which I would not call melodic. His music is also very quiet, which perhaps is a good thing. Maybe I am ignorant of this style of music.

Happy cowboy
On the other side of George Street, almost directly opposite the Town Hall a guitarist busker sets up show almost everyday this week. I’m yet to take a good photograph of him but he poses every time I point my lens at him. So, it is a task for another time. He plays semi-classical guitar pieces with strong Spanish undertones. It is an interesting place he selected to play at. It is a busy walkway, a bus stop near by and long set of steps leading to an office tower thus he always has an audience - willing or otherwise.
Today, at the bus stop there was this old man in a cowboy hat. He had an interesting face and I wanted to take his photograph. He seemed quite distant, uninterested and expressionless but when the music stopped a big smile appeared on his face and he clapped his hands loudly in an obvious appreciation for the music. Snap.

Chinese musician
There was something surreal about this old Chinese musician playing a traditional instrument in front of the Sydney Fashion Festival tent. So close in distance and so distant in the cultural heritage. The was piece of paper you see at his feet is sheet music.
