This photograph of two older man talking on a bench during lunchtime in Sydney reminded me of a recent discussion I have witnessed on an Internet forum on subject of candid people photography.
I am very passionate about photography in general and particular in people photographs. I will on average see 10 to 30 Internet blogs dedicated to photography a day. View what other photographers capture or create. See if I can learn some new technique or pick up what makes me like a photograph and how I can apply it to my skill set.

The two human shapes under the rugs are a bad sign. It is still relatively warm but having these homeless sleep in the street only meters away from the shelter means there are more of them than last year. Sleeping on pavement is no pleasure now in mid autumn and by the time the winter comes it will be outright freezing.
I found myself today at the sharp end of a triangle. I have noticed the girl on the phone as I passed the construction zone at the Pitt Street Mall. She was half enclosed by the construction safety tunnel and her whole front was out of it exposed to the sun. It looked a bit like the old portraits where other then the person in focus everything turns into a black void.
I took the camera and started to focus on her, when I noticed the two men on the left. From their reaction I gathered they thought I was about to photograph them. I quickly re-framed the photograph to include them in the background. The resulting image looks like a collage of two separate photographs only joined by the invisible photographer as both the men and the girl look at me at the same time.
Just a coincidental photograph of two men having a conversation on their mobile phones. I just thought that their poses and facial expressions were somehow synchronous.
I have captured these two young men having a run at a Terrigal beach just before sunset. My elevated position and the low, warm sun provided for a good perspective and excellent contrast.
