Today was a beautiful, warm winter day in Sydney. Many people took the opportunity to enjoy the weather and went to the parks or to the our door eateries to enjoy their lunch. These two giggling Asian girls had an ice cream with a very healthy dose of laughter as they were walking down Pitt Street.
For me, as a street photographer, this nice sunny day presented the challenge of extreme light contrast. As you can see from the girls covering their eyes from the sun the light was very intense.
A photograph of a two Asian girls giggling next to me at a pedestrian crossing. I did not understand what they were talking about but it must have been very funny as they were laughing uncontrollably.
Today, I have read in a newspaper that the best way to girl’s heart is via laugh. And not just any laugh – girls apparently like if you make fun of yourself as apparently this proves you are not arrogant.
Well, whatever this young man said it made this girl laugh. He’s is in the know.
I have photographed these two young women sharing a joke on George Street. It must have been a very funny joke as I could hear their laughter from far away.
I went today to watch another game of chess in the park. However, instead of photographing the chess players I’ve photographed a couple of men having top time during their lunch. I guess this was a perfect day for an outdoor lunch with almost summery conditions.
