I think this photograph proves that subconciously I prefer blond women. The intention was to show both girls as they clearly stood out in the crowd. With their hair dos and pretty dresses they turned more than one head.
It is not often that I photograph people at the shallowest depth of field and thus normally both girls would be nicely in focus. On this occasion I have not adjusted my lens from previous shot and with the girls passing by very quickly I only had time for this one photograph – focusing on the eyes of the blond girl. I wish I had the time and presence of mind to do the reverse shot.
PS: Check out the Jolly Roger necklace the girl in polka dots dress is wearing.
Just a quick portrait I took in passing in front of the Post Office building in Martin Place of a young man with some stylish hair do and clothing. Although I have passed him very closely I am not sure he noticed me taking the photo. Never the less he seems to pose for me here but it is only coincidental.
You can make up your own mid what this young Asian male was picking from the hair of the older man in the middle of busy Pitt Street Mall.
This photograph of a man with extremely long hair could easily illustrate title song of the musical Hair. Some of you may remember the chorus: “Hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair
Flow it, show it. Long as God can grow it. My hair”
A special day for hair today. I took three interesting photographs – all on the subject of hair. Firstly quite a deliberate framed photograph of a man with big hair and a model on a poster behind him. I have aligned the view in such way that the model seems to be looking at the man.
