Judging from the face of the girl in the middle the story the young man was telling his companions was rather scary or at least unbelivelably surprising. I photographed this group at one of the remaining Starbucks Cafes. Normally I avoid the place as it attracts a lot of smokers but it also has some interesting people from time to time.

I photographed this woman while she was waiting for pedestrian lights to change. She was with a group of people clad in orange t-shirts and some, like her, wore a plastic bum. So, Does My Bum Look Big In This? Frankly, I think so. I am not sure what was behind this exhibition. It did not look as an advertisement or promotion. Perhaps a prank or some group game.

This homeless man always sits at the same corner of the Pitt Street Mall with his small dog. People almost do not notice his as he usually just sits there and reads his newspaper. This group of young Asian youths must have been new to Sydney CBD as his presence has obviously puzzled them.

Last week’s World Youth Day was not only about prayer, singing and attending Mass. When the formalities were over the pilgrims entertained themselves any way they could. Here, a group of monks was kicking a small ball around.

I’ve photographed this interestingly dressed man in Sydney’s China Town. We were both watching a Dragon Dance performed by a very skilled group of young man. The show was very captivating and literally stopped traffic. The show was intended for a function in a local bank and it turned into a street spectacle for all.
