Classical Guitar MG_1210
I often write prises about Sydney buskers but this guitarist performing in front of the Martin Place fountain is probably one of the best I’ve heard in a long time. He played a number of classical guitar pieces with obvious virtuosity.

Sun baking in the park
Unseasonably warm weather has brought a lot of people into the Hyde park to catch the warm autumn rays of sun. There was quite a bit of skin showing on the grass all over the park. Those two pretty girls ware sun baking near the fountain.

Czech Republic - Kutna Hora 9105
The town of Kutna Hora is about 70km from Prague in Czech Republic. It is listed on UNESCO world heritage list. During the Middle Ages, thanks to the profits from its silver mines became the richest and most powerful town in the Czech lands. At the turn of the 14th and 15th centuries, Kutná Hora became the seat of King Václav IV. It is said it produced 2000 silver coins an hour for almost 4 centuries.
Things to see in Kutana Hora: The Gothic St. James’ Church (pictured above) and the St. Barbara’s Cathedral, devoted to the patroness of miners. Please note: photography is normally not permitted in the cathedral. Among other points of interest is the former mint – Italian Court, and several patrician houses. Many of the buildings in the town look neglected but then again the 14th century fountain looks like it was build yesterday.
Visit to the silver mine is also worthwhile but is certainly is not for claustrophobic people. I would also discourage anyone who is too “big” to try the squeeze in the passages. The mine shafts are really narrow and low. Not all guides speak English so inquire first. View my Kutna Hora Photo Gallery here.

Girl in black dress by the fountain
You may recognise this location from my previous photos. This is the fountain in the Sydney’s Martin Place. There were no formal events or street performers there today. Instead I’ve noticed this very pretty brunette in black dress waiting for someone. It seems she was getting a bit impatient and I think her body language reflects it well in this photograph.

Spiral Fountain - Sydney, Darling Harbour
The Spiral Fountain located in Sydney’s Darling Harbour is very popular with many tourists and children. The temptation to take off your shoes and walk the water filled spiral to the center is hard to refuse. It is also one of the most photographed attractions.
