There is something eerie about this graffiti of a face and winged guitars and it is not the presence of the scull. There is something peculiar in the facial expression. I found the face rather intriguing.

It rare that I take photographs of people for their face alone, but in the case of this Asian girl I found her face to be very exotic. Initially from a distance it was her small hat and a smart leather jacket that drew my attention but as she approached I even forgot she had a hat. The girl did not mind being photographed, neither did the Indian man on the left.
This simple photograph of an Asian girl with a mirror fixing her face in a public is a small symbol of a growing trend. I see a lot of activity, which in my opinion belongs to a bathroom occurring in public. Women cutting, cleaning and polishing their nails on trains, applying makeup (this is also dangerous when they do it in traffic, in “privacy” of their cars). Applying hairspray and deodorant in public. The list goes on. When has all of this become acceptable behaviour? Are we as a society so short on time we have to use any time and any place to do things like toiletries outside of our homes? I think not, but obviously many people make it their routine.
Judging from the face of the girl in the middle the story the young man was telling his companions was rather scary or at least unbelivelably surprising. I photographed this group at one of the remaining Starbucks Cafes. Normally I avoid the place as it attracts a lot of smokers but it also has some interesting people from time to time.
This photograph of a girl giving a passing man a critical look is far from good in technical terms. There is motion blur as I have taken it without stopping and the light is challenging ranging from a remote bright spots to almost black holes in the building on the left. However, her expression here is priceless and I only wish I had some miracle mirror camera to see his face.
