Hello

There was nothing special about this man waving ‘hello’ to his friend if it wasn’t for a particular light reflections on his face. Some motion blur and created shadows on most of his face with acutely highlighted eyes turned his face into something unusual. Certainly an expressive photograph.

Leisel Jones

I have met Leisel Jones recently at the Australian Motor Show in Sydney. Leisel is sponsored by Hyundai and was fulfilling her promotional duties. She was a very obliging host signing hundreds of autographs.

Motor show crowds however are fickle and 30 minutes later Lisel was quite on her own, while the crowd gathered somewhere else. I have asked Leisel to pose for few photographs. Nothing out of ordinary – all with a car, as after all this was Motor show photo reportage.

Incredible India

This photograph of an Indian girl adorned by traditional jewelery was taken during a tourist promotion, which took place at Sydney’s Martin Place. A variety of very colourful, male and female performances, which you can see in my new Indian gallery, kept the spectators entertained during lunch. The whole show was done in a lighthearted way, thus showing even more of the nature of the Indian culture and people.

Matt – I always had coloured hair

As I walk through Sydney I often encounter people whose individuality is very obvious and very attractive from photographic point of view. Today I have met Matt, whose coloured hair drew my attention. Matt was only too happy to pose for the photo. Pose wise I have asked him to look afar – just as I found him. While I was asking him to hold the pose I realised the most striking feature of this young man is not his colour hair but his deep blue eyes. Matt you have been a great sport and I hope you like your portrait.
