Long exposure is often used in water photography to show the water movement. Too long and the water looks like plastic coating. Not long enough and the effect is totally lost on the viewer. In this photograph I wanted to create an effect where the rocks would be very solid and the water would be turned into cloud like mist. This is a bit more tricky than a simple long exposure. I have used the waves to create the effect but photographing not only using the long exposure setting but also exposing the same photograph many times and blending it together in software. This photograph is a composite of 7 individual photos.

I photographed this out of shape man in the front of The body shop. This was early in the morning and the overhead monorail tracks on one side and shop walls on the other created a darkish tunnel effect. Through some reflections a stream of light landed on the mans face and upper torso.

I was going back to work from my daily walk when I have noticed these two Asian girls on a set of stairs. With the deep shadow and bright sunlight the stars created a very strange effect: you could not assert if they were convex or concave.

A men sitting next to Sydney Town Hall. Behind him a glass wall fencing of the entry to the railway station. By a curious light and half reflective nature of glass he gets halved and doubled at the same time. Naturally, to capture such photo you need to select your position where the angle of view creates strongest mirroring effect.
