Last time I came across this group of young men performing in Sydney they were entertaining crowds at Pitt Street Mall under a name of Justice Dance Crew. This time I saw their show in front of QVB. The audience was visibly more numerous as now under a simpler name, the Justice Crew have just performed on Australia’s Got Talent TV show. A performance which wowed the studio audience and the show presenters. And it is no surprise as the level of athleticism exhibited by the guys is outstanding. The part I liked most occurred after their show. After the “compulsory” passing of the hat there was a lot of congratulations and shaking of the hands. A genuine enthusiasm and friendliness.
Only few days ago I have mentioned I came across a street dancers, which were so boring I did not care to take a single photograph. Today in contrast I was not sure when to stop taking photographs. The Justice Dance Crew were performing at Pitt Street Mall. Their acrobatic finesse and moves captures what may have been the biggest crowd I’ve seen in the mall for such an impromptu performance.
The guys were very athletic, engaging and entertaining. Spinning so fast and so close to my lens I have moved half a step on few occasions intuitively in order not to interfere with their routine and obviously to protect my gear. I hope I have more opportunities to photograph these dynamic hip hop dancers.
I have heard the word salsa about 5 times in less than a couple of seconds from these two stunning girls while they were passing me by. I guess they have a passion for that south american dance.
This is quite paradoxical but few hours before my father passed away I went out with my wife and a couple of friends to an Oktoberfest at Terrigal. I must say I had a lot of fun, I even danced (must have been first time in years).
Naturally, other than some corny German folk music there is little in common with the actual Oktoberfest. The food was “questionable” and not a lot of selection in German beers. Never the less everyone made a party out of it. Many people even dressed up for the occasion.
Today, Pussycat Dolls had a mini concert at Sydney’s Martin Place. They filled in the place with their lively rhythmic pop music and a very sexy dance routine. It is not coincidental their act is often described as burlesque. The girls certainly know how to use the sexy image to spice up their show.
I have taken quite a lot of photographs and you are welcome to explore my Pussycat Dolls gallery
Pussycat Dolls are Ashley Roberts, Carmit Bachar, Jessica Sutta, Kimberly Wyatt, Melody Thornton and Nicole Scherzinger
