Nikon D2Xs

Nikon announced an upgrade to its flagship DSLR Nikon D2X. The new camera carries moniker D2Xs. 

New camera offers a number of improvements over its predecessor:

  • Addition of Black and White mode
  • Additional 1/3 step ISO boost settings
  • Additional options for the Function Button
  • Adobe RGB Colour space available in all three Colour Modes
  • Battery warning during Mirror Up
  • Changes to Auto focus
  • Colour Matrix Metering II tweaked for use in High Speed Crop
  • Electronic viewfinder masking when using High Speed Crop
  • Extended continuous shooting
  • Extra Custom Curve options
  • Extra GPS information
  • Image Authentication system compatible
  • Improved Menu GUI color scheme
  • In camera Trim function
  • Increased field size for Image Comment
  • Larger wide angle TFT monitor
  • Longer battery life Modified Auto ISO control
  • Modified USB port with new USB Cable Clip
  • Refined settings management
  • Save/Load settings between multiple D2Xs cameras
  • New settings in EXIF
