I am yet to learn a lot about human behaviours. Here a couple of young women talk in front of the Sydney Town Hall. One of them is touching the knees of the other one. In the background an Asian woman is looking at them very critically, as if with disapproval. Yet, in her own culture it is common for young girls to walk holding hands. What makes one behaviour acceptable and not the other one?

Incredible India
by Ted Szukalski |This photograph of an Indian girl adorned by traditional jewelery was taken during a tourist promotion, which took place at Sydney’s Martin Place. A variety of very colourful, male and female performances, which you can see in my new Indian gallery, kept the spectators entertained during lunch. The whole show was done in a lighthearted way, thus showing even more of the nature of the Indian culture and people.
Conversation on a roof
by Ted Szukalski |
Part of the art of street photography is ability to notice interesting people and events around you. There are some places where I know there are many people with character or are very popular destinations for either tourists or alternative culture youth. However, I did not expect to see people having conversation on the roof of one of small shops in the city center. They may have been workers fixing the roof but at this moment they simply had a engaging talk.
