I took this photograph of very heavy rain clouds spreading over the ocean from Cape Byron at Byron Bay. According to charts Cape Byron is the most easterly point of the Australian mainland. The point is within a few minutes walk from the famous Byron Bay lighthouse.
Views from here are fantastic and it is a good spot for photography both at sunset and sunrise as the elevated position of the light house allows almost for 360deg views.
