I thought building a cardboard city in the middle of the Sydney’s Martin Place was a brilliant idea to generate awareness of homelessness in this city.

Otago is an another magical region of the New Zealand’s south island. Again lots of mountains, valleys and lakes beautifully adorned by autumn colours.
Queenstown is really charming with lots of activities available for adventurous tourist: white water rafting, sky diving, bungy jumping, jet rides on the rocky river and helicopter rides. Adrenaline rush guaranteed just bring the cash with you as some of these attractions do cost a bit.

Neogothic Cathedral, Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand _MG_8233
Christchurch is a very picturesque city located on the east coast of New Zealand’s South island. In Autumn you may think you are somewhere in Europe as the numerous European trees turn yellow, orange and gold. Botanic Garden is a must at this time of the year.
Many historical buildings such as pictured Cathedral will also capture your attention. Unlike in many other cities where such buildings are often a no go zone Christchurch has turn many of them to usable retail and service spaces. I must say I had mixed feeling about this approach but it certainly makes for a more colourful visit.
The Canterbury region is quite amazing. Vast distance of green, lush land with endless supply of mountains, lakes , springs, rivers and valleys. You could spend years there and not discover all the landmarks.
