Homeless man in brand new Dr. Martens boots MG_5907

This is a very special photograph for me. Firstly because I did not have to ask this homeless man if I can take a photograph of him. He asked me to take a photo. Secondly, this is a very rare occasion where a homeless person was actually very happy.

And the secret behind his joy? The man received a brand new pair of Dr. Martens boots. He was overjoyed with them and asked everyone around if they liked his new, red boots.

I have photographed this Asian girl at an outdoor coffee shop. She was very amused and embarrassed at the same time when I have asked if I can take a photograph of her with the big hair do.
