Rapper - Busker
Now, I have to find this talented rapper again. I was in a hurry on my way back to the office so I managed only this one photograph of him. I have to state I do not like rappers but what this man was doing was real art - real singing. I hope to meet him again.

Girl Talk
Another photo focused on body language. This time two attractive young women chatting happily in the middle of the Pitt Street mall. Ah yes, the high skirt is back in fashion.

Workmen at lunch
This group of workmen had a lunch break at Martin Place. They watched a busker rapper performance. They were uniformly dressed. They sat almost in the same way. Yet all of them had an individual experience in relation to the show.

Storm clouds at sunset
What a strange weather we had this evening. First from a fairly normal day the sky turned almost black and served short but torrential rain followed by electric storm. Then out of nowhere just before sunset a narrow clearing in the low cloud cover provided for this colourful and very dramatic sunset.

The Issue - Your say
The Big Issue - while you are waiting for the customer you can read it. And it seems the articles can be very fascinating.

All important phone call
There are a number of places I have noticed some time ago as potentially good spots for portrait style photography with fairly dramatic light. One of them is the corner of Martin Place and Pitt Street. However, the place is very rarely “occupied”. There are a lot of pedestrians around but none in the open sections of the Post Office building.
Today I was in luck. This man was positioned perfectly of centre and with his face in the light. He also had an interesting face. As you can see from the eye contact he has seen me taking his photograph and yet he did not turn around or change his pose. I hope his all important phone call brought good news.

Golden Retriever - Portrait
Our golden retriever dog does not need a lot to achieve happiness: take him to the beach where he can swim and fetch a stick and he is seven heaven.
This photo was taken at effective 400mm as I was testing a 2x teleconverter. The Autofocus system suffers a bit with this converter but the end results can be really outstanding given a bit of patience and practice.
