The Cancer Council Australia’s Daffodil Day

Today was The Cancer Council Australia’s flagship fundraiser, the Daffodil Day. All over Sydney the colour yellow dominated every possible corner and mall. Volunteers were selling not only the theme daffodils but also variety of other merchandise to raise funds for cancer research.

Cancer affects nearly one in three Australians. It seems this fact is well known and support for the found raiser seemed to be generous.

The photograph depicts a husband and wife volunteer team for the Cancer Council Australia selling daffodils in Pitt Street Mall. They were beautiful inside out!
